Dan Forrest (*1978)

Come to Me, all you who labor
Come to Me, and I will give you rest;
Come to Me, you who are weary and burdened
And you will find rest for your souls.

Come, My child, learn My heart:
For I am gentle and lowly.
See how great My love for you
that I have called you My child.

(Adattato da Mt. 11:25, 28-29, 2 Cor. 6:18, I Giov. 3:1)

Venite a me, voi tutti, che siete affaticati,
venite a me e io vi darò riposo.
Venite a me, voi tutti, che siete stanchi e oppressi
e troverete riposo per le vostre anime.

Vieni, figlio mio, impara dal mio cuore:
perché sono gentile e umile.
Guarda quanto è grande il mio amore per te
che ti ho chiamato figlio mio.
